What the checks are.
The checks
Every build is run as a whole against the vehicle’s real physics: the power path (each system has a limit, and power stops at the lowest one), fit (wheels, tyres, brakes and intercoolers checked against the platform’s measured geometry), and legal status where you live (emissions parts checked for a CARB executive order in states that need one). When the catalog has no number, a check says so instead of guessing.
What’s real today
The vehicle catalog is real: every make, model and variant since 1984, and VIN decoding against it. The constraint engine’s physics and every build you save are real.
What’s example data today
The parts catalog is example data: every part carries a visible “example” tag, and prices and fitment are placeholders until store feeds are connected. The GR86 and BRZ evidence ceilings and stock quantities are copied from a synthetic test fixture. Every other platform gets the same physics rules but no evidence ceilings yet, so its ladder ends honestly in “no data” instead of a guess.
