What we keep, and why.

Moddo is run by Mynde AI LLC. This page says what we collect when you use moddo.autos, what we do with it, and what we will not do with it. It is written to be read, not skimmed; it is short for that reason.

Waiting list

If you join the waiting list we keep your email address, which form you used, and the time. We use it to send one email when Moddo opens and, if you have not unsubscribed, occasional product news. We do not sell it, share it, or add it to any other list. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete the address at any time.

Builds

A build is the car you picked, the parts you chose, the state you registered it in, and the use you told us. We store builds so you can return to them. Until accounts exist, a build is tied to its link, not to you; anyone with the link can see it.

We also use builds in aggregate to make the product better: which parts people pick for which cars, which checks stop a build, which prices were shown. That includes training and evaluating models that suggest parts paths. Before a build is used this way it is stripped of anything that could identify you, including the build name and any free text you typed. We never train on your email address.

Store links and prices

Prices come from stores and marketplaces we read on a schedule. When you follow a store link, that store may pay us a commission and will set its own cookies under its own policy; see the affiliate disclosure. Marketplace data we receive under licence, such as eBay listings, is kept no longer than the licence allows and is never used to train models.

On your device

We store your theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site. Server logs record the address, page and time of each request and are kept for 30 days for security and debugging.

Your choices

Ask us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by emailing vivek@mynde.ai. We answer within 30 days. If you are in a place whose law gives you further rights, such as California or the European Union, you have them here too.

Changes

When this page changes we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use something you already gave us, we email the waiting list first.
