What Moddo is

Moddo is a planning tool. It estimates what a set of parts will do on a car, whether they fit, and what limits them, from published figures and physical rules. Every figure shows its source and every check says when it has no data.

What Moddo is not

It is not engineering advice, a guarantee of fit, a promise of output, or a statement that a part is legal where you live. Cars vary, parts vary, installers vary. Before you buy or install anything, confirm fitment with the seller and the law with your state. Modifying a car can void warranties, affect insurance, and be illegal for road use; those consequences are yours.

Prices and stores

Prices are what a store showed at the time we last read it and can change without notice. Buying happens on the store’s site under the store’s terms; we are not a party to that sale. Some links pay us a commission; see the affiliate disclosure. A store paying us never changes its rank.

Your builds

You own what you type. You give us a licence to store it, show it to anyone who has the build’s link, and use it in anonymised, aggregate form to improve Moddo, including to train models, as described in the privacy policy. Do not put anything in a build that you would not want public.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the site, load it automatically, resell its data, or interfere with it. Do not post anything unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content or block access that breaks these rules.

Our content

The Moddo name, the three-square mark, the site design and the text are ours. Vehicle and part names belong to their makers and are used to identify products; Moddo is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer.

No warranty, limited liability

Moddo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Mynde AI LLC is not liable for any loss, damage or cost arising from use of the site or reliance on its checks, including damage to a vehicle. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid us to use Moddo, which is nothing.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the current version and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, and disputes go to the courts there. Questions: vivek@mynde.ai.
